San Diego and KC at #19 and #20 will probably stick if the defensive backs they like are still on the board at that point, because they won't last until #27. If they are gone, then we'd have a good shot at trading up. Parcells also has a history of moving down, and Miami might be looking to do so as well after giving up a second for Culpepper.

rather just have it. It'd be worth seeing if we could move up in the 2nd if a guy we really love is there, but overall, I don't see much need in just giving up a 3rd rounder as if it's not worth anything. Plus, I enjoy the versatility of two picks in a row, and while that's not really worth a ton in itself, it'd be nice to not have to choose between, say, Blackmon and a backup tackle like Colledge, where I believe the dropoff for both positions (and in general) dip right after the 4th starts.

Can the Bears back out of the deal now with this arrest thing going on?

No, and Colledge will be gone by the early third at the latest (personally I can't really see him lasting past the middle second).

I would think packaging our 2nd and one of the 3rd to move up 15 or spots in the 2nd would be the move. There seems to be alot of quality in the top half of round 2.

There is enough quality in the late third to get a couple nice role player types and solid back-ups, so I'd be fine staying put. But, moving up into the early second or early third might get us a potential starter or a #3 WR.

I'd gladly throw in Mick Mixon, though I don't believe a PBP guy has ever been involved in a trade.
