Estimates for custom home building

I am planning to build a home with the cost+ model and am in the process of getting estimates with several builders. What I see is an average of 17-19% commission for the builder on top of the cost. Is this a good price for Raleigh area in North Carolina?

 

Find out who is build the type of home you want. Price range sold and areas. Ask if you can look at thier finished work. Look what they have in progree. You could even visit Local Banks & Credit Unions. They could also steer you in some good direction. Looking at estimated cost is good but sometimes the workmanship is worth the extra over save a few hundred. Also be warned of those trak building groups.

What type of builder you required ? I belong to real estate sector and some time people contact with us provide builder. You find near real estate and they told your desire builder and your problem easily solve.
