    True head Case. That's the glass half empty view.

    We didn't overpay anyone, and I still think Davis is a whole lot better than, well, anyone we've ever had. And he's never had any knee issues i've known of.

    We've set ourselves up with a chance without killing our cap. We can be successful and still grow. I haven't been optimistic about the chances in Panther land in years. Feels kind of like the season prior to 96, only we look to be building things to last. We can get our head over water.

    What he said.
    Davis is a franchise RB and one of the best in the NFL. He has 4 to 5 dominate yrs ahead of him barring injury. We got one of the best at a bargin price IMO.

    Damn you guys are optimistic. If we get 3 good years out of him at his age and with his running style, I will dance the proverbial jig.
