This is very good news, for getting him, the price we paid, and the way we went about it. I am a very happy man.

What does our cap situation look like after these move? I think it leaves us around 2.5 mil. That's not enough for any more FA's and draft picks. Someone else is going to have to go.

You must have been waiting with baited breath for that one. 2 minute response time....nice. I'm done here, nothing to see, move on.

Yea, I'd put Collins at the top of the wish list now. We need a RT badly and I'd rather not use a 1st to get one.

I am starting to love this Panthers staff. That is a good to great contract for Davis. They didn't give him the bank and still have $$ to sign someone else. Great work by the Panthers.

Barring injuries, the playoffs should be a serious goal IMO. :D

I can't believe we got him that cheaply. In this case, I really like the incentive laden deal. I guess the only way it could backfire is if he hit 1500 yards this year and we still go 8-8, and the gets hurt and hit cap hit is humongous even though he's hurt.

Anyway, it's a better deal that I would've guessed. And only $2.1 million against the cap this year.

$2.5 million BONUS!! That's great Hurney. Way to go.
