    We needed to sign someone. I strongly dispute the hyperbole that Reid was the best free agent safety all along, though. He was not. He's very comparable to Searcy. Still, I like it because it keeps Colin Jones relegated to special teams.

    We will have to wait and see how he looks. He has a clean slate here. $1.9M isn't that bad of a deal. I hope he is not a distraction to the team.
