Erasing The Hard Drive

A buddy of mine is currently using Win 95.

He wants to erase everything off of the hard drive.

Anyone know which commands he'd have to use?

You need to boot with a Windows 95 DOS boot disk. Windows 95 won't let you format the c: drive if you booted with it.

Or, buy a new hard rive for cheap, but make sure you burn your old one on account of all the filthy porn.

Don't forget to put your cd drivers on the floppy.

I personally don't know why the guy is going through the hassle. I think that it's an old PC, and he wants to swap 95 for 98 (not XP)...

Like meat said, makes a lot more sense to install a new hard drive...
