...according to my decidedly untrained eye, looks good to me to snatch for the Panthers. He looks comfortable, and he's got a pretty good gun.

the only problem is that if he stays in school another year, we'll have to suck rather badly again next year to get him.:(

I'd take him. I'd take Leftwich or Palmer as well, or Boller, or even Grossman, at the right value levels. Hell, I really would want to develop Lorentzen, yes, if it came to that.

Carson Palmer got excellent reviews from him.

    What do you guys think?

1.QB(Leftwich Palmer Manning) 2.WR(Andre Johnson, Justin Gage, Gabriel)

    -or-

    1.Wr(Rogers/Williams) 2.QB(Simms,Gesser,Ragone)

Right now Johnson's probably the second or third best WR out there, and probably second after workouts. Gage is more representative of what we'd get in the second.

Eww...don't want Simms. Boller in the second and Johnson in the first I could deal with.

I didn't realize his stock was that high. I can't see him being rated over Roy Williams and isn't close to Rogers so 3rd is probally as high as he can get.

Where is the WR from Penn State Bryant Johnson being projected?

I think as weak as we are a WR that a well polished 2nd rounder could start for us.

Looks like Gary Danielson never met a qb he didn`t like. Only 3 "C"s in the evaluations. WTF?
I agree there is some fine potential, but lets be more subjective than their agents.
