Get a grip. Magnus doesn't decide the future of the coaching staff. Whether or not he "sits on the fence" or is a Fox homer or not has zero influence or impact on anything.

feel free to move this to the particuluar argument thread....I meant to make it a reply, not a thread

where have I implied he had any influence? I'm talking about his personal take on the matter. You might want to reassert your own grip, because right now your grasping for something that isn't there.

For a month now you have been freaking out on magnus becuase he won't agree with you 100% about Fox.

We get it. You wan't a new coach. Magnus won't prevent that from happening. This isn't politics, nobody is voting.

    lolz

the thing is, I don't find myself a homer. I've been more at odds philosophically with this staff than any. Have been for years, but I understand what they were trying to do, and for the most part it's worked. People are all full of shit when they start talking about 2001 and how this is as bad, or how awful this staff has been before right now.

I'm also not happy with the product on the field. Who you want to blame for what's going on generally falls amonst past issues anyway.

I might be reluctant to change. I think retards clamoring for Fox to be fired if Matt Moore wasn't put in the game was pretty stupid. I'm also open to change, and if we can do better, we should. But this isn't a video game where you reboot the playstation so it won't save your big fuckup. I'll watch the season out, and I'll hope for them to win. Anybody who wants to give up has already done it.

    with their money, sure

I'd personally welcome a change to keep my interest up. I'm not worried about convincing a stranger one way or another though.

I haven't asked him or any one else to agree with me for that matter. I've only pointed out where I see the problems lie on this team. I've pointed out failures in the draft and free agency to address known needs. I've pointed out the guy's record may not be as good as advertized because for the most part it's been built against far inferior teams. I want the team to be more like the top teams in the league and less like the mediocre middle teams. There's something preventing us from getting there. Is trying to present a case based upon what's actually been done by Fox/Hurney in the relevent areas (draft/FA/coaching) taboo now?

When I'm taken out of context or accused of saying something that I haven't, yes I get pissed. I then let the person doing it know about it in no uncertain terms. Sorry you have a problem with it chip. If it so enrages you, put me the fuck on ignore and you won't have to deal with it.

You've certainly gotten worked up about not agreeing.

and yet it certainly never seems to keep you from doing it, even contradictory to other things you try to force into my words.

I understand what youre saying, but what the heck else are people supposed to talk about? Not much good is going on when the Panthers take the field. Personally, it would be one thing if I felt like we were getting stronger throughout the season, I feel like I dont see any direction or plan, or more importantly, improvement...I guess I just wonder what the hell they are doing...
