nevermind. I figured it out, I think. DVD Decrypter is used to rip the video/audio files. And Nero via DVD Shrink burns them. Right?

You got it! I use Roxio to burn though. Been able to copy all I've wanted to expect one.

I don't have a version of Roxio that works with dvds. The copy I had was for cds only. But I'm on my second disc now and the first one is playing downstairs.

The only reason I use Roxio is because that's what the dude that helped me build my computer installed. Nero may be better but I haven't used it so I don't know. I've found myself taking all the extra crap off the DVD to get it to fit on the copy at a decent quality. I could buy dual layer DVDs to copy to but by then it almost becomes just as cheap to buy the movie outright.

I have a DVD recorder that I use to copy Panther games from the DVR. Probably 8 out of 10 times I will get a disk error part way thru the recording. Have no idea what is causing it. Suggestions?

That's what happened to the one DVD I couldn't burn. I was just thinking maybe there was some extra copyright protection on that particular DVD that DVD Decryptor couldn't break.
