I guess I just don't see why height is an issue. He's the same weight and short making him thicker and more compact. I would see that as a positive.

One could look at it like being 5'9" makes it harder to get a good hit on him, and he'll have the low center of gravity thing going.

We've consistently had 2 guys, we will again. There are still guys out there.

I wouldn't have minded Moore either.

I worried about Steve Smith too. He's just a widdle guy and he gets tackled almost EVERY single time he catches the ball. I'm not sure a guy that size can hold up.

Just FYI. Barry Sanders was 5'8" and 203lbs.

DW = 1,000+ yards next year.

yeah, WR and RB are 2 different animals. Can't compare them at all.

Smith's short, but as I've been saying since he was drafted, he's got a wide frame, long wingspan, and big hands for his size. He's not thin. He'll absorb a hit.

Same with DW, to an extent. I don't think either of these guys' size are a concern.

Foster is big and got hurt all the time. I don't think it's related to size but more physiology and luck.

Duckett will never see the end of that 5 yr deal... and he's past his prime.

I never thought Warrick Dunn could handle even 15-20 carries per game. I got proved wrong big time, so I'm not about to question a cat like Williams can't handle 25-30 touches a game...

Sorry, couldn't find the sarcasm smiley. I thought using the word "widdle" instead of little would have given it away.

I'm just agreeing with others that DW can handle the load. He carried a heavy load while in college and I see nothing to indicate that he can't do the same in the pros. He's shown he durable by having only one injury of note in 2 years. How many did foster have in his first two years as a backup? We've seen numerous other backs who are very similar to his size and weight so I guess I'm just questioning what's forming the basis of you opinion.
