    I agree, right now if I play the Panthers offense all I do is double Smith all day man up on the rest of the receivers and commit everyone else to the run. If I force Jake to throw to his other receivers I will likely get a couple of picks and keep the score low.

    You need two solid options in the passing game at a minimum. Even if one of those options is just a tight end you need more than one option. I really wish the Freddie Jones signing had worked.
