Goings/Foster looked good but it was against the Saints. If they do it next week then I will have more confidence in the duo.

You got to believe Eric Shelton is sitting at home right now kicking himself.

It makes me feel great knowing that we need other players to help our coaches evaluate our own talent.

I like to live in a dillusional world where Fox has planned keeping Carter a secret and Goings fresh just for this end of season run. The sneaky Fox has a master plan that included not showing much until late in the season. But, as I say, that is when I'm feeling dillusional.

agree, Smith doesn't seem to be trying much on returns

Imagine our offense with out Smith and then tell me you want him to return punts. Jason Seahorn was pretty good until he got hurt returning a kick, we know what happened after that......

I wish we had a duante hall-type dude as a 3rd or 4th WR (to replace Proehl next year), who is really good at PR and KR duties.

Wonder if Robertson can return punts? What about Carter now? BTW, where's Baker?

Other than the one really good PR by Gamble, he's done nothing there.

Magnus and I have both been calling for drafting a returner for a while now. His guy Jerome Mathis from this past draft has been awesome for the Texans this season, for whatever that's worth.

Robertson can't. Carter might, but I don't believe he ever has. If he ever did, he's a lot more suited to KR than PR. Baker was brought on amidst Broussard last year and sucked, wasn't invited back.
