How easy it for someone to learn? I am going to help my daughters school make a webpage for their marching band. What they have is pretty lame. I understand Dreamweaver is the way to go and plan on taking a class to learn. Any ideas??

probably for what you want to do, it's too much for you. Though I have to say, the GUI is spread out nicely...

it's not hard to learn, I should have worded that a little differently...but Dreamweaver is very cool, and if your going to take a class, go for it

it's as complicated as you make it out to be, just play easy songs with it, don't try to play heavy metal the first week, know what I mean?

    my friend uses Dreamweaver, http://digitalimagesdesign.com/web-site-samples.html

    I love his stuff

I did my own using dreamweaver, a digital camera, Adobe Illustrator (for the webgifs) and Photochop.

It's basically a publisher type program. Or, you can make it so complicated to use that it'd take the developer of the software to figure out what you're doing.

Flash can be cool. It can be really simple or super complex. But for what he's doing, Irfanview and Dreamweaver basics are all he'll need. Plus, a basic layout sensibility. I hate websites that make no sense in their browsing.
