    As much as we need defense, I’s be down with Wirfs in Charlotte if he’s there at 7. But Simmons seems made to order right now.

    As much as I like the idea of trading down, unless we go to the bottom of the first we're just going to get another third. So we an either get a later first and two second round picks, or a high first and one second round pick. We've been ass in the third round for years, and 50/50 in the second.

    Give me the stud. A good NFL roster has a few stars and a bunch of decent players who team well. We get those on day three.

    If Gentlemen takes Simmons instead of a left tackle I may seizure up. This is a very deep draft. If Simmons went before us is be fine to back into the teens for more picks on day 2

    I'm not totally against giving moving up to ensure we get Simmons. Give Samuel back to the fat man and throw in our 2nd. Hurney usually botches that pick anyway.

    I think you have that backwards. He has some solid third rounders, but just a couple of 2nd's who weren't complete turds (Foster and Kalil are the only two who come straight to my mind).
