    This part blew my mind:

The players who are more often mentioned as potential first overall picks include Notre Dame inside linebacker Manti Te’o, Georgia outside linebacker Jarvis Jones, Alabama guard Chance Warmack , Utah defensive tackle Star Lotulelei, Texas A&M defensive end Damontre Moore, Texas A&M left tackle Luke Joeckel and LSU defensive end Barkevious Mingo.

    A guard #1 overall??? Really??

It's extreme but not impossible beside look at how much elite guards are getting paid it would be much cheaper to take a Warmack.

More than two, and read your own comments from that thread, assclown. You were hardly against the idea yourself: http://www.thisboardrocks.com/forum/f19/no-dl-worth-8-9-pick-181419/index2.html#post2689042

It's disingenuous to blatantly lie and claim you "thought it was a terrible idea" when you said absolutely nothing of the sort.

I didn't change the argument, you did. I pointed out that you were a complete moron for saying that trading for Mario would have been a Hurney move when he never once traded a first round pick directly for an established star player. I also pointed out that letting a star DE walk for nothing was the Hurney move. You can't admit that, though, because it would mean acknowledging that you said something stupid.

More lies from you. You were adamantly against drafting him.

You said for two years straight that this roster wasn't suited for a 3-4 besides Hardy, which was true. Drafting a 3-4 player would change that equation to an extent, but Kuechly isn't a 3-4 player.

CJ and Hardy only play about 65-70% of the defensive snaps, which means that the third DE plays quite a bit.

Oh hey, yet more lies. I said that Lotulelei would be a waste as a 3-4 nose at 0 or 1: http://www.thisboardrocks.com/forum...ameday-thread-184689/index21.html#post2731931 I said that he looked impressive as a 3 technique: http://www.thisboardrocks.com/forum...rospect-thread-181303/index3.html#post2687154 Incidentally, that was the first time anyone had mentioned Lotulelei on this board, but go back to pretending I said they shouldn't draft a DT. And if they were able to get Lotulelei then of course that would make Dwan Edwards expendable, although I'd prefer to get something for him in a trade if possible.

Seriously, stop posting if you can't stop lying. You know I'm going to post the evidence highlighting what a dishonest piece of shit you are.

I read the thread and was in it. It was a bad idea.
no one's ever sugarcoated anything, ever, to not incense your sensitive ass. I'm sure everyone says exactly what they think.

I did say Hurney did that with Peppers. And I said that Hurney traded away a ton of picks, and specifically overspent on ends compared to tackles over his last five years by a wide margin. So the deflection game is fun and all, but trading for Mario is a Hurney move.

In the bragging rights thread, I said he was the pick, and I'm guessing while you were trying to sit on my old words during the game, you saw that being said. I can also say I had reservations, absolutely. There were plenty of times I felt he'd be a good fit (actually, in the role you're trying to force Hardy into).

Doesn't matter, that particular massive upgrade has two sacks. I'd say it's partly because he's on a bad team, but CJ's first year as a starter was with Clausen starting, and Hardy's good year is on this team's resurgently shitty offense).

Last year Hardy played over 80% of snaps on, I believe, all but one game, and most of those were over 90%. I quoted it in one of the various arguments where I rightly pointed out he'd be good with a depth player who played the run better, but he's doing well right now either way.

I meant one gap, and my words make better sense there. Sorry about that (OMG I NEVER STOP LYING BLAHBLAHBLAH NO ONE EVER MAKES MISTAKES), but still. My logic, using the right actual idea, is that you say Dwan is in your plans (and he's a 3 tech), and you want Lotuleilei (and he's a 3 tech).

Now that I've said it correctly - answer that. Are those two separate thoughts, or is Dwan a $4 million backup and those two don't need an able nose next to whichever plays?

(which, hint: if you need a nose too, it feels like that makes DT a bigger need. Outside of that it obviously is).

I never said that. Which, coincidentally, when you use pissy little words like "pretending", you're trying to cut down my argument and infer I'm saying something I never did. It's clever, but it's still bullshit.

What I said was, you commonly use DT to suggest DE is equitable. And then get huffy about it when people don't agree. I don't believe they're equitable, and even if you think Dwan is a fantastic two way player (and that you don't discount him getting 2.5 sacks the way you've bagged on our ends, and that he doesn't suck against the run the way he does), even still that's one good player - who's 33 next year, and costs $4 mil+.

So, in my estimation, no, we don't have two very good young defensive tackles, one who has limited time on his contract - we have one old defensive tackle, who we disagree on whether he'll even be on the team next year, and if God willing we get the islander I desperately want, we probably don't need Dwan anyway.

Trading the 9 pick for Williams would be monumentally stupid. Especially with the salary cap on rookies. How the hell would we pay him 100 mill after handing out 70+ for CJ?

And how can you equate 2 30 year plus DT's to 3 very young DE's.
Its great the impact Dwan is having but lets at least admit that he is having the best year here he has ever had as a pro, at 32 years of age.

Hardy is in year 3. He is exactly where you would hope he would be in his development. Just like CJ did. And Alexander has shown tremendous potential for a 3rd rounder in year 1. Much more than either of the 3rd round DT's showed last year.
