I made the same comparison to political ads. Daily fantasy leagues are definitely going to get a look by Congress and very likely are going be banned as a result, I just hope they don't take down the rest of the fantasy sports industry with it. Right now there's a fantasy sports exemption written into federal gambling laws that allow them to be played for money based on the idea that they're more skill than luck (whereas daily leagues are 90% luck and 10% skill). If Congress chooses to wipe out the fantasy exemption entirely instead of specifying that daily fantasy leagues do not qualify for it then all paid leagues either go away or go under the table.

 

Yeah I saw the same report. I've played ff for 28 years and don't plan on stopping. I started on paper and will go back if necessary

 

I would say that it tarnishes the game, but we're talking about a game that gives people brain damage. So fuck it.

I put $25 in both prior to week 2. Prior to this week (week 6) put another 10 in both. That too will probably be gone after this weekend. Hopefully I'll be "wise" enough to quit while I'm 70 bucks down, if i lose . .. if I win two 50/50's i'll have 36 bucks to keep playing with.

Had a horrible weekend, lost all around. I like the Monday /Thursday game where you choose between players who play in those games. Doubled money each week
