    Why reach for a QB when you do not have to? Not a whisper of Newton being #1 or even #2 until Luck decides to stay in school.

    Trade a late round pick to Denver for Orton and then either develop Pike or Pickle or draft another guy later in the draft. It is not impossible to win with a guy like Orton. If Denver had a defense they would have been a playoff team.

    Very few defenders will be the least bit afraid to tackle him in the NFL. He will very rarely "run motherfuckers over" in the bigs


    No, he can't read a fucking defense. And he can thank Chizik & Co for that efficiency rating. Unless his NFL team holds up giant retard cards on the sideline for him before every snap he will actually have to read D's and think a little. Do you really think he'd be able to read defenses and call audibles in the NFL when he was not able to do it in college?
    Malzahn dumbed shit WAY down for cammy cam. The only way I can see newton working out in Carolina is if Chizik and Malzahn came with him.


    I hope you're right, and I think you are on that one. JR has already invested in JC as that project and as this owner has done in the past I would expect a Delhomme-like gamble in the form of a vet to be brought in for added insurance. Hopefully they learned from having way too much youth at the helm this year.

    Did Newton win the Heisman? Yeah . .. Will he win a national title monday night? Probably . .. but neither of those would come close to happening without Chizik/Malzahn. Newton gets too much credit. Chip Kelly is about to be arrested for stealing that AP coach of the year honor once Auburn wins the title monday night. Because he happens to have a couple of geniuses doing the thinking for him Newton has been extremely successful. The camster would not look like a man among boys in a panther uni . . . guaranteed
