He clearly has balls, just not the best judgement. See Edwards, Armanti, and Brown, Everette.

picking cammy would demonstrate the same type of "balls" he used when picking clausen and trading for edwards. I'm almost hoping he does newtonize that pick so when it becomes the biggest most expensive glaring goof in team history he will finally be canned

I just gotta think if it was DT they wanted, assuming no trade down was possible, that we'd have been reading more articles about Dareus and Fairley and pooing the QB's a bit more. Riveras a D guy, you'd naturally expect him to like a Dareus or Fairley more. They could stand proud and tall with that pick too. Unless this is some master plan to screw Foxy. But its not like Fairley is that bad a consolation prise either.

They're having a big event for this thing, arent some ESPN crew supposed to be showing up. Meaning they certaintly wont be skiping our pick for a commercial. I watched that huddle draft preview last night and Mixon, Robinson and some other dude were talking about the #1 pick for a few minutes. Mixon and Robinson appeared to be definately leaning towards a QB with the top pick, the other dude made a point for Darius but Robinson quickly mentioned addressing it with a 3rd rounder. He kinda killed the idea of Peterson saying we didnt have the need. This is an in house production.

    Its gotta be Newt

I keep forgetting that Hurney tried like hell to trade this year's first for an earlier pick to draft Clausen.

Man if he'd have been able to do that, just think. No 1st, no second, and probably no Marty. I'd take it.
