I will be very surprised that if Indy goes undefeated the 72 Dolphins won't welcome them to the club with open arms,, that Shula team was always class,, I know,, I have been an avid fan since 1966, I was born in Miami and since I was 5 years when the Dolphins were formed I have been screaming about that Prevent Defense,, well that was mostly in the Shula years,,, LOL

I do not know why they make such a big deal out of going undefeated. I am more impressed by teams that win multiple superbowls than I am by the 1972 Dolphins. I would not even put that team in my top five best of all time.

It isn't until you watch film from those days that you realize how bad many of those players were. Some like Jim Brown could play in any era, but a lot of those guys were stiffs who would never get a look in the NFL today.
