    Gotta get a vet QB
    Maybe a big D lineman from Denver or AZ to help new D

    Things will come into focus next week in FA a bit more.

    I would certainly not be sad to take Stroud, at least you would not have to try to teach 5" taller.

    We are in control now, before FA and with 23 million in cap room, so we will see

    I misread the initial report. I though we traded two future 1st rounders.


    Not as crazy but it's still kinda dumb. You're counting on a massive return from some QB with at least one major defect.



    You've also hollowed out the WR position in short order.

    So you're thinking the new coaching staff would do so shitty as to put the Panthers in a position for Maye?

    Moore put up good numbers, but he's also been the target for one out of every four passes we've thrown since he's been here. He also isn't great at contested catches.

    We can get some veteran WRs in Free Agency, and will likely take a WR or a pass-catching TE in the draft. It's a lot easier to find someone to throw the ball to than it is to find a QB, so I'm ok with it.

    We also have an absurd amount of cap space next year, so FA 2024 is going to be lit.

    All the fucking eggs have clearly gone into one basket and it feels like the "brain trust" just said, "fuck it . .. whatever it takes" . ..
    And to get one of the overhyped qbs from a draft that only has a couple of defensive players that grade out as elite. The concern of trading up was exceeded and i think if ANY of us knew that the price would be this high it would have been a unanimous "HELL NO"
    So after trading the teams best offensive weapon (without getting any high picks) and now the second best offensive weapon (plus giving away a top 10 pick, future 1st, and two picks in the top 61)
    seems like a desperate front office to me .. . whoever the one overall they pick is he better be elite and get there in a hurry, and be durable for the next 7 or 8 years plus
