Direct TV has the NFL Network, Dish does not.

I don't know shit about Direct TV, but in my opinion the NFL package is extremely overpriced for what it is....

Unfortunately I can't compare the two for you, but I have Dish Network and am extremely pleased with it. If you have any specific questions about it you know where to find me.

I used to have Direct TV and I have looked at Dishnetwork pretty hard. Dishnetwork is cheaper. You can get a smaller channel package from them if you want to pay less.

actually when you purchase the Sunday ticket they temporarily give you the full premium package as well. So you get Sunday ticket all HBOs, SHOW, Encore, CINE, etc. So in reality when you break the price down for 4 months you're paying like $50 a month for the $80 package.

As long as you feel it's worth it, I'm not one to judge. I think it's a rip-off.

No you don't. I have never lost signal. When we get some wicked storms, sometimes the screen will glitch for a split second, but I have yet to lose signal.

its just a matter of if you enjoy football when it comes down to that. $50 a month for any pay TV price is reasonable now-a-days

new directv system install saturday...it fucking rocks

    fuck cable

the new DVR's are nice... 100 hours, fast guide, and have a couple of cool things like the multi channels and guide that sorts what's playing, like kids channels, sports, and movies...

i have 2 DVR's and will be adding another one next month or so for my kids playroom...with directv, you only pay for DVR service once no matter how many DVR's you have...and you can have up to 6 per household

i also got the nfl ticket with the superfan channels...can't wait...

another note...a telephone connection is NOT needed in anyway other than to order PPV with your remote...you can order PPV online for no additional charge

    my neighbor has Dish...it sucks

oh yeah...and the new directv remotes pretty much makes my harmony overkill
