No reason to get upset or invade a seahawks board over a Falcon fan. I have been concerned about the Falcons defense being scary this year.

Yeah, he wrote it like an asswipe, but it's really not a terrible prediction. Atlanta is definitely capable of winning the division. Problem is, other than getting Hartwell back, they've done very little to improve the run defense, and they have become rather predictable on offense.

Wait, I've changed my mind. This guy is a dumbass, and an asswipe.

yeah, for some reason i think we know more about his team than he does. and for someone trying to make their mark on the sports world he doesn't know squat about the teams in his own division.

You're serious? Edgerton Hartwell is coming off a serious injury (and he was a product of the Ravens system anyway), Lawyer Milloy is old as dirt, Rod Coleman's lost a step, John Abraham's an injury waiting to happen...the only defensive player that stands out to me is DeAngelo Hall, and he's no better than Ken Lucas. I ain't scared...

Add Milloy, Abraham, Hartwell & the rookie from VT. They were decent before last season and get a few extra players....they should be improved. That and Coleman had one of his better years last year.

It's just something at the back of my mind, not a major concern. It just wouldn't surprise me if they have a good season defensively if they continue to have a good running game.

It is an improved defense. Problem is, I don't know if they've improved in the right areas. Abraham fits into what they like to do, and I think he has some ability against the run, but he isn't going to turn that around by himself. Milloy is still a fine strong safety, but his window is closing fast. Jimmy Williams is a talented defensive back, despite his R. Jay Soward-like attitude towards being a professional.

FWIW, I still like Tampa's chances this year. Haven't done anything to get worse, and they've made some needed adjustments to the offensive line. Throw in the Saints, and the South appears to be wide open. Hell, if a few things go against us, we could easily finish in last place. In any event, it should be interesting.

What i find amusing is he believes the additions of Malloy and Abraham are enough to take his team from the worst defence to the best. I also like how he has already written of the RB, Foster who tore them a new one last year on both occasions.

I dont know how he can write off the Bucs because of youth after they just won the darn division. Granted they didnt make many upgrades but they did manange to keep a team that went 11-5 together. Carnell and Simms should be even better.

yep, not worried about what he's saying (or that he could be successful in his attempt to get someone to pay him to write, for that matter).

but this was just a dumb thing to say:
    oll

and BTW, who talks about a team as a whole and fails to mention a Pro Bowl QB, a receiver who made All-Pro and led the three major receiving categories, and the addition of one of the most talked about receivers in the last ten years? Correct me if I'm wrong but those guys might be useful.

better front four, they get hartwell back, they have another good young corner. I don't think their D beats us, but they're trying to match up to us.
