When Jamison is active over Anderson = that'll raise eyebrows too.

I'm not sure why the media kept putting Colbert on the bubble. It was pretty clear from the start that Colbert would be the one starting.

Beason will be starting one way or another pretty soon. Either he will beat out Diggs or Diggs will get hurt.

I hope they get some playing time for Jarrett. No problem with Colbert starting and Carter being the number 3 but Jarrett needs some touches too. If Colbert loses his preseason look of adequacy then pull him do not give him half the season to do something.

Our safeties really suck. Harris has not shown much yet either.

Is that the official team chart?

Gantt has one up too, a little different.

I don't think there is an official depth chart yet, or at least not one released by Fox.

    somebody's gotta be inactive.

and if this isn't official, what does it matter? The only surprise listed is seeing Salley as a starter.

Obviously, Salley didn't win the spot, but Cooper was so bad that I don't mind seeing someone else get a shot.

The rest? Not suprising, but I'm not too comfortable with McClover backing-up at LDE. That is a total misfit. Hopefully the "real" depth chart has Johnson behind Peppers, because I think he's a little better suited for that spot.

And only 8 DB's? Leads me to believe that we are, in fact, looking to add someone who just got the boot. Will Demps is sitting out there, and I think he would be a good fit.

I feel better about the position. It was encouraging to see the other guys making some plays, although the offense didn't get much out of it.

that's accurate. Fox (and Carolina) won't release a depth chart until Wednesday (normally).
