    Agreed about the asterisk. Still, for him to be #3 behind Collins and Beuerlein (not necessarily in that order) after 5 1/2 games is saying something, I think, even with the asterisk. :)

    True, but that doesn't mean it doesn't count. Like you said, there are a lot of starters who are forgetting some of the basics, and it's biting them on the field.

    Neither do I. I expect Jake to be much improved next year with another 10 starts under his belt and a whole offseason under Henning.
