He may be very good at the running game. Someone is, because while the Jags are talented and the line is good enough, they certainly had a good enough running game. The passing game lagged, and that's the part of the staff that got cut. Most coaches don't do a running game coordinator / passing game coordinator type thing at all, but certainly, the OL/TE/RBs coaches do have input into the run and some concentrate on that.

Whether Tice could pull it off with the whole offense or not? Don't know. Obviously he had problems with the Randy Ratio and other nonsense.
