Martin, Munnerlyn. Plus roleplayers like Applewhite, and guys signed mid-year.

    yep.

Definitely a strength in the draft. I'd like to keep both Edwards, but Ron's an almost free $2.4 million in the last year of his deal and Dwan likely either prorates out (there's no dead money, I don't think, in waivers, but they'd be on the hook for $4 mil or so if they keep him.

If it were me, and I'd hate to do this, but I'd probably drop Anderson. He's good, and he's not overpaid, but he's just kinda there. The team has emotional investment in Beason and TD, and TD probably does whatever it takes to just play. Anderson might stick around a little longer, but I don't know that him being the 3rd best LB at $4 mil a year is where they want to go, but the net without a June cut is a savings of only around $200k, too. So who knows.

One of various places that a steady vet couldn't hurt, but obviously cheaply enough that it diminishes the quality you'd get. I guess, under Wilks at least, Munnerlyn and Thomas have been serviceable, but Munnerlyn's UFA, and Thomas I believe is RFA (which suddenly has gotten worse, as far as value for a marginal 4th year player - luckily RFA is extinct after 2013)

Needs a total overhaul. Godfrey's there, and apparently his missed tackle stats are way down. Early to cut him.

It's really not. I'd love to get Lotulelei, but Hankins has major red flags despite being incredibly talented, while Jenkins is a pure 3-4 nose. I don't think Jesse Williams is any good either. The underclassman from Florida might be interesting but I haven't watched him so I can't say.

What? Anderson has clearly been the team's best linebacker over the last couple of seasons and you could argue that he's been the best overall defender (granted, that says more about the sorry state of the defense than about him). It's weird that you have developed this obsession with keeping Beason around at all costs, as if you're still defending Hurney even after he's gone.
