    but we'll give you 3 MNF games so the world can see Favre's last hurrah. I'm a huge Favre fan, but 3 MNF games? They'll be fortunate to go 8-8 with the offseason losses they've had.

    mnf (i.e tv in general) is all about the ratings. its a popularity contest imo rez. just look at what the panthers got last year after making it to the super bowl, nadda....well one game.

    Losing Sharper was big, but the guards can be replaced, especially Rivera. They'll be better than 8-8 barring injury, but VI is obviously right about it being a ratings game.

    As an aside, I wonder if ABC will do anything different with what figures to be their last year of MNF.
