    He wouldn't be a $9 mil. cap hit for whoever traded for him. The Cardinals would take a cap hit for him for the rest of the year. If I remember right the new team only covers his base salary at that point, but even then I think its more than the Panthers have available.

    That being said we need some depth at OL if we plan to keep the train rolling.

    If he's near the end of his rookie deal, I bet its mostly base salary. He was the 2nd overall pick in the draft.
