    But isn't the point of an opinion piece to get people to have an opinion? Just becuase the reaction opinion is that the columnist is off base doesn't make it garbage.

    disagreeing with it is one thing--I am fine with that...calling it pussy-ass and all that other stuff is unneccessary, IMO.

    So, it's OK to have a negative opinion about the opinions in the column, but it's not OK to have a negative opinion about the negative opinion about the opinions in the column.
    Now, I've expressed a negative opinion about your negative opinion about the negative opinion of the negative opinion about the negative opinions in the column. You got a negative opinion about that? :woohoo:

    No, I just think Solarte was taking it a little personal becuase he is in the media and knows the columnist.

    no, not really. I tend to agree with all the Gantt said in the piece, except the part about him being insecure. That's all.
