Agreed. I'd openly brought it up as something that I'd done of that nature, last time in a fair while before, and IMO not since. I don't like Collin's behavior, and he doesn't like mine - he doesn't like how I treat people with respect (in his opinion, more respect than they deserve in some cases), and I don't think he's ever really enjoyed the fact that I hold the communities I do, which in the end those communities signify nothing. I don't control others' actions or thoughts. But I think he blames that on a group disliking him, when it's his actions.

Anyway, rambling aside, I brought it up as a point in which I'd done wrong doing. Still think the stat was bullshit [IMG] (and Clayton's stats were strong v/s us, but as I noted then, Branch wasn't the main coverage man to begin with)

Who's starting rght now? Well, let's see. Norberto Davidds-Garrido was starting this time in camp in 99, and he lasted about this long. Tuten was starting over Gross at this point in camp in 03. I don't think Branch will last long at all, but I agree with the team's ideal of using him to force the more talented players to beat him out.

    Edit:
:lmao::lmao::lmao::lmao::lmao: Oh my God, that is so hilarious. Holy freaking crap, I can't believe I just read that. :lmao::lmao::lmao::lmao::lmao:

All bow down to Magnus. [IMG] He is the leader of your community and will take you to the promised land.

I'm sure you think I am. I'm also sure you think that this whole thing was some "mistake" that I've been covering for. I'm even curious how long you're going to be bitter over, well, everything.

ah the memories. i was looking back cuz i was thinking was supportive of Branch in that dialogue. actually i was kinda wishy washy on Branch but i think can now claim victory is this argument with Piper.

    >> [Piper]No, he's [Branch] a Free ... In our scheme we seem to want our FS to be a centerfielder 90% time anyway.

    > [me]Well, imma just gonna continue to disagree primarily because of your point above. My primary issue with him playing FS is I don't think he has the range or the instincts to make up for his lack of range. I also disagree on the size issue as i think it more than adequate and think he will improve his tackling to be adequate and it possible that he will develop better coverage skills than Minter. Not saying he's the answer at SS if we lose Minter. Saying that if he has a chance to play anywhere well it's SS. don't think he will ever be a good FS.

    >> He is the leader of your community and will take you to the promised land.

we prefer to think of him as our shepard

Call it SLB or Joker or whatever, its clear from what I've read and heard from camp so far, Davis' role will beto negate the opposing TE, or blitz. Both of which he is well suited for. He's working mostly 2nd team right now and in the nickel package if I remember correctly what I've heard and read.

Screw Crumpler, I want him to take Vick's head off.

And HeadCase, it's too early to claim victory on Branch. He is practicing at SS, but most likely just to get him reps at both so he is able to back-up both positions. Honestly, I too see him being a FS than SS over the long-term.

We take away Crumpler and he will run. He must have ADD he loses focus if he can't find Alge
