Like you used to when people said Dameyune Craig should be our starting QB? [IMG]

    Like you used to do.
I argued that Lewis should be our next starter. Didn't make it right, but it was possible. As is this. It's not perfect, but he's a tremendously talented player who shouldn't be pigeonholed by convention.

Damn straight. Any comments about how Dameyune Craig should have been our starter were monumentally stupid, and I don't feel the least bit guilty about lighting into those people. My point, however, is that you are also well known for putting down people when you view their ideas to be not only wrong but stupid.

So we should consider Thomas Davis at defensive tackle? Wouldn't denying him the opportunity to play defensive line be "pigeon-holing him"?

was. Not "am". Not only have I calmed down once I got out of school, I also looked at how you were and decided I didn't want to be that guy. Plus, we've got enough people on this message board that will call a guy an idiot for disagreeing with them, and those guys suck, too.

No. Obviously, you're being a smartass, but exaggerating to DT doesn't interpolate back to SLB.

Uh huh. As I recall, even back then you claimed you didn't abuse people. I've also seen you doing it in recent threads here, so forgive me if I don't take you at your word.

So saying that Davis doesn't need to be tried at all positions before we know he's ill-suited for some is a valid statement in your eyes? What about CB, is that an "exaggeration" too? Davis at SLB is stupid, but at least it's better when you actually bother to make a case for it instead of just making a blanket statement about how we (meaning I) shouldn't "pigeon-hole him." Saying Davis is ill-fit at a position isn't "pigeon-holing him," it's an acknowledgment that players can't simply line up anywhere on the field.
