Anderson might make for a very worthwhile short-term compliment RB.

I doubt they cut both Draft and Short. If they do, I'm remarkably nervous.

KFFL is indeed useless. One sentence equals seven reports, a paragraph could be 20. Can't just say "Panthers expected to make moves - Delhome, Peppers, Minter, others potential for renegotiation of contract", they've gotta list every single one. And if one player has interest from ten teams...

I would think Short before Draft.

The Mike Anderson move is quite interesting now.

Putzier showed flashes of being able to stretch the field

Hmm. I've always liked him. If we have to take the tag from Foster, and lose him, I'd like to have MA

32, but only 800 total carries/3 years being a focal point of an offense. Don't forget he came into the league at 26.

I don't think it'd take losing Foster's money to get Anderson. I don't expect his next contract will be that big. He's not a 5 year solution, but for a few years, he'll give you a big back style to compliment Foster.

I know, I just thought some might think he was younger due to his late start.

I'd be ok with giving Mike Anderson a shot at the starting job, but remember that we still have about 20 roster spots to fill even after we cut enough fat to slip under the salary cap.

I think Anderson would be a "Fox" kind of player, too. High character, high motor, superb work ethic -- a true blue collar player. I'd love to see him here, but unfortunately I don't see it happening because of Shelton.
