Very very excited. Why the heck are some of you guys down on him?

PLayers' coach. Innovative. Very strong personality, and well, well respected around the league. Google Cleveland articles, there were players that were really lobbying this guy to get the OC gig, and guys saying he was the best guy on the coaching staff. Players go to bat for this guy.

He will also bring focus to the TE position, something most of us want. He is a guy who understands line play through and through. A tough minded offensive coach.

Are you fucking kidding? We just made a good fucking hire, people.

I would love to have Wies here. Since that is not going to happen a Wies disciple would not be a bad choice. I knew he had to have more going for him than his recent history with the Browns.

The Carolina Panthers finalized a contract with new offensive coordinator Jeff Davidson on Tuesday night.

Davidson was the offensive line coach for the Cleveland Browns the past two seasons. Prior to that, he was an assistant with New England as the Patriots won three Super Bowls.

Davidson, 39, replaces Dan Henning, who was fired after an 8-8 season. The team also officially announced tight ends coach Dave Magazu will shift to offensive line coach.

Except for Fox. I assume you meant Fox's staff, but its a good point. Charismatic people usually appreciate that ability in others. One of his main jobs is to get the O players to truly, truly believe in him. Of course, the best way to do that is to coach a productive O, but this ability helps alot.

Because he's never proven anything, and because neither Belichick or Crennel thought he was good enough to be their OC. If we were the Raiders, I'd be psyched to get a young guy with some potential, but we're supposed to be a Super Bowl contender. What happens if he isn't worth a shit?

Really? Gee, you have a short memory. Not that I think it will, but I would never say that myself.
