We were trying to break the Colts record for a win with the least TOP. Got to have goals in life.

Yeah, the reason for the 2-minute drill working is they are in a basic defense and they can't substitute. Are you so stupid you can't see what was working on the only two decent drives of the game?

Yeah, the no-huddle bogged down a couple of times, but our conventional plan bogged down the entire game. So who's stupid?

The draw worked out of passing formations because we couldn't run out of the 'I set' meaning the defense was dictating their will upon us insted of us imposing our will upon them.

I think penalties and bad first down plays just started killing us. As Jaws said, most of our wounds were self inflicted. One series was a Ratliff sack on first down, one they guess right on a run blitz, we'd have a hold, false start, offensive PI. Other than Gross and Rosario, no one had a very good game on offense.

2 minute drill, smart fuck. If you run a no-huddle during any other part of the game, it's not a 2 minute drill, it's just a no huddle. And law1ng2b2 already noted that we tried to go no huddle and went three and out, putting our defense right back on the field. That's why you don't do it on a regular basis.

A differently called game wouldn't have likely effected the outcome. Only a better played game would have.

What you should do it stick to what has made you a successful team in the past, instead of breaking out our lobotomized version of the west coast offense.

I agree, but it's still a concern when you start to abandon your identity.

Man, what works is what works. I don't argue with results. Are we a WCO team? Heck no, but if we are moving the ball, why try to buck it?

I'd like to see us run more (if the draw was working vs the blitz, run that), but some of that was down and distance dictated. Our only third down conversion was a 3rd and 16 draw. It seems we were always third and long.

    Nothing worked consistantly.
