sounds like her heart is really in it. the hype would be unbearable. its already bad enough with indy racing and shes never won a damn thing.

But in the end, it's all about the money. And Patrick knows all too well that NASCAR has most of it.

Right...Im sure she rides in the hauler to the track every weekend.

 

She is just trying to get a better IRL contract. She will not be racing in NASCAR anytime soon. Who the hell complains about racing every weekend? How would it look if Adam Morrison couldn't decide if he wanted to go to the NBA because they play over 80 games a season?

 

I wonder if the NASCAR guys would complain because she has an unfair advantage due to her weight being less than the average male driver?

 

A 'Cup' car has to weigh 3400 LBs including fuel, oil, etc...If the driver weighs less than 200 pounds the team must add weight to the car in 10 pound increments up to 50 pounds.

For example. If a driver weighs 185 the team must add 20 pounds to the car. Danica weighs around 100 pounds so she would have to add the maximum 50 LBs to the car...

I guess there would be a small advantage to DP.

NASCAR has been known to change the rules. You can bet if enough teams complain they would add more weight to the car.

In Indy Car I am pretty sure they weigh the car with the driver in it so she would have no advantage there...
