Maybe that was not the best analogy but can you think of any other sport where the stars would be complaining about a girl having an unfair advantage over them?

It's not a gender issue. Boxing, wrestling (Olympic, not WWF), etc., have to consider weight, or there's an obvious unfair advantage.

All I'm saying is if her weight gives her a 1mph advantage, at the close speeds they run, he may have a point.

Somebody in the Observer had a good point. They said that Robby should complain to NASCAR because Mark Martin has an unfair weight advantage over Michael Waltrip.

Apparently that is not correct. I heard someone (Poole?) say that NASCAR has an equal weight for the car & driver combined, so everyone is teh same - like horse racing. Martin has more weight in his car to make up teh difference.

I guess NASCAR should be glad the heaviest driver isn't David Poole's size.

In the NASCAR Busch Series, the driver who is currently 2nd in points is #41 Reed Sorenson of Peachtree City GA. He is now 19, and is slight of build. I have seen him race for 7 years now locally plus the ATL. In Legends Cars, the weight of the driver is not considered, and he was thought to have an unfair advantage. He kicked A__ there because of talent. In the Busch Series, his slight build has no advantage, it's factored in. He is still kicking A__ because he can flat out drive a race car. Time will tell on Danica Patrick, but as I called out about 2 years ago on this board, the lady is a serious hot shoe.

I can't stand Robby Gordon's punk ass, but he's right. 100 pounds is a major difference, but Indy won't do anything about it because they need a hot chick for anyone to even give a damn. For my own part, I still don't. I didn't watch the Indy 500 and won't watch their other races, but I did appreciate the pic on the first page.
