    The New York Jets have announced the hiring of Sam Gash as their assistant running backs and special teams coach. Gash spent 12 seasons in the NFL as a fullback.

    The Cleveland Browns have announced they have hired Ben Coates as their tight ends coach. Coates brings four years of coaching experience and 10 years of NFL playing experience to the Browns.



    I remember when these dudes were in their prime as players. Any other of you 20-something's feeling a little old? Geez.

    I am only 33 but I remeber well the catch (Montana to Clark), Riggins and the Hoggs, Joe Thiesman breaking his leg, Mark Malone replacing Bradshaw and the '85 Bears.

    I was at the Super Bowl when KC beat Minnesota. I think the ticket cost my dad like 10 dollars

    Well, think back to when y'all were mid-20's, and you started seeing all the big-time NFL'ers from your childhood either fanning out to broadcasting or coaching. I still have a hard time watching pre-game shows with guys like Irvin, Young, Marino and Shannon Sharpe. I keep thinking these guys play.

    Hell, fellas, I'm just flat bored tonite. Chalk it up to that.

    I saw some highlights of Steve Young today, and damn that fucker really stared down his receivers a lot, it's a wonder he didn't get picked off more. I never really noticed it that much before.
