    No it's not.

    The first two teams didn't run against us much, and when they did, they gashed the fuck out of us.

    We held MJD in check for 75% of the game, and the other times he was blowing us up with huge gains.

    Our run defense sucks. It's working itself out, sure, but it still sucks.

    I would love to see Cam put a stiff arm on Peppers and knock him to the ground like one of our backs did to Barber in that game with the Bucs back in 2008.

    If you look back, we made half time adjustments and Wells got almost no yards in the 2nd half. MJD had a few big runs that pumped up his numbers. Many times he was stopped for a loss. I'm not saying our run D is good, by any stretch of the imagination. However, I think Mclain and Fua are doing better than I expected and it's only their 3rd NFL game. I have some hope, that's all.

    Bears are on the way down, Lions might have supplanted them as the 2nd best team in that division. That said, they still have a sold team with a D (cover 2) that will really challenge Cam Newton's ability to read a defense. I think it's a winnable game however, Bears are solid but they don't scare anyone. Packers are scary good, Bears.....not so much.

    The Bears remember Steve Smith burning them so bad in 2005 that they still need aloe vera gel to sleep at night....
