J.J. is okay, but they'll need to have another guy in there. They can afford another guy. Bennett would be an ideal fit. Played for Green and is similar to Arrington. But they do indeed need a facelift on the line, and that should come first.

Boy would that not be a pisser for Kurt Warner if they did bring in Culpepper. I bet he could do some damage with that receiver corp out there though.

How about a three way trade. The Dolphins get Culpepper, the Panthers get Ricky Williams and the Vikings get Dan Morgan?

Arrington was a guy I'd have taken in the 2nd if there. That, and counseling a good friend who drafted him last year, I was mightily disappointed in him.

I certainly didn't believe him to be the dominant, franchise lineman, but the man-tits and flab and tick-tack injury aside, I don't think I saw him being this bad. But he's got room to grow, if he can work harder for his career than he did for the draft position.

Probably. That seems to be the general blueprint for a good line, especially after the Mike Williams, Leonard Davis, Aaron Gibson type guys keep falling out.

Culpepper. I'd rather him go to Oakland than to Miami - just because I hate Miami. It's a saving grace to Moss, I guess, to do so, and probably best for Culpepper to get out.

Thelt - trading Morgan would blow a good bit of our cap.

I would trade Morgan if it would get him off our cap. I guess it does not work that way though. Looks like teams who get the player in trade should get the rest of his the proration of his signing bonus too.

Hurney really screwed the pooch on that contract.
