I imagine Jerry Jones airdropping money onto Tomlin's house.

So McDermott wouldn't be an option?

McD was a hot HC candidate before getting cuckolded in Philly. I guess he would be worth a look, though it might stretch our defensive staff a little thin. He's interesting in that he has NFL experience as both a coach and a scout/salary cap guy.

I think it will be Jim Skipper. Maybe partially because of the nostalgia factor, but also because of his experience as an assistant HC (technically he was coach for a day when Fox missed camp for someone's funeral). If it's Shula, I won't even bother watching the rest of the year.

Shula would be hilarious, so he gets my vote.

Sadly, I just doubt Rivera gets canned mid season. I think we're stuck with him.

If he did get fired? Skipper. No doubt. But just for the interim. No one is going to seriously consider Shula for IHC, so I really don't think we need to worry about that.

My position has been that we weren't going to fire Chico. To do so we would need a replacement. You don't bring in someone from the outside to be interim and everyone of value is already employed. You would be stuck with unemployed retreads. From within, I say no to Shula and McD. Even as interim. So with no real replacement options we would stand pat until much later in the season. I had forgotten about Skipper. That actually could make sense as interim.
