Tebow is going to be a project QB. I just don't see him being ready to jump in the league and start.

if Fox/Hurney don't make the playoffs this year I'm thinking they won't be making the call

I'm not sure why this is even a discussion, Jason Campbell is unquestionably the best of that group. I would agree he is not and will never be a superstar, but I would also argue that right now he is unquestionably a step up from Delhomme.

That said, I don't think he's a long-term answer either. That's going to have to come through the draft, which means most likely, next year's QB is indeed on that list.

There were plenty of folks saying Jake couldn't get the job done.

Yes, there sure were. Did you honestly believe he was going go out there and shit the bed again? I mean, I think most people figured he was on the way out, but that was a horrible game following a horrible game.

I'm sure there are people who figured it was coming, but I certainly didn't think it. Just like I don't expect him to come out and do the same thing vs Atlanta. He might, but I hope for the Panthers sake he doesn't.

No....I don't think anyone expected an abortion like that again, in fact I expect Jake to play OK at Atlanta...histrically he's been very good against them. But I CAN honestly say that Jake's physical ability, which wasn't ever great, was getting worse and so his ratio of shit-games to big games would get progressively worse. Nobody argues whether Jake is going to lose games for us...the only question has been when, and how often. Now the new unknown in the equation is how bad will he suck when he does.

Campbell would be a solid addition, but he's never shown to be as good as people expected. I never felt he was worth a 1st.

I wouldn't argue with that. In this instance though, he's the one-eyed man in the land of the blind, as far as that group is concerned.

Yes, which is why I said what I said initally. They gambled on Delhomme, took an educated guess that he would be good enough to win most of the games and would only cost them a couple. Now it is looking like meltdowns are the norm.

Yeah, he's solid. There's also the fact that the redskins offense changes every game (that was hyperbole, in case anyone wants to jump my shit for saying that).
