Command & Conquer Renegade - need cheats

A neighbor is letting me use the game and I like it, but then again, I don't have much to compare to since I am not a huge gamer...

Anyway, I am ready to get some PC game cheats and I can not find any for this C&C version. I found a few command lines when you hit the ~ but that is for multiplay.

Right now I am several missions into the game and I am trying to escort some damn scientist out from the bottom, but I am low on ammo and keep getting blasted... if I just had unlimited ammo, I could kick some ass...

Any hints?
