    I've become an acolyte of the Pat Kirwan approach. Pat Kirwan focuses on the facts and raw data. The facts and raw data suggest that Kaepernick would be a major upgrade at backup quarterback. He might be better than our starter, quite honestly.

    I think it's also perfectly reasonable not to want him. I don't think anybody should be browbeaten into signing people they don't want to sign. I just reject the notion that it would destroy a team's season. I think that's all a bunch of voodoo malarkey. Pardon my language.

    Pat Kirwan is the antidote to all of life's problems. When everything around you seems overwhelming, just focus on the facts at hand. It's a wonderful approach, in my opinion.

    I love the guy. Need to start following him again. I listened to his radio show religiously about 5 years ago.
