They've been run on badly over the last few weeks.

Keep in mind he had very capable passing QB throwing the ball at USC.

Keep in mind other recievers haven't looked like punks with the QB we have.

I've never seen Ricky Prohel give the kind of half ass effort Colbert does.

Agreed...but look at the original post...Proehl, one of the surest set of hands in the league, has 20 catches, if Meat's stats are right. 3 less than Colbert, so that's gotta say something.

Ricky Prohel is a middle aged third reciever in a run oriented offense. He's on the field about half as often.

That he has nearly as many receptions as one of the starters certainly says fuckering something. Like that starter fuckering sucks.

I'll say something more. Steve Smith has inflated Jake's stats this year, yeah, but Colbert's play has taken some away.

Hankton...not a starter...23 catches...so that argument doesn't hold. I agree, Colbert is loafing, but I also know Delhomme has all the heart in the world, but he's a mediocre passer at best. He's one dimensional and easy for dB's to read.

Now you are talking in tongue. Hankton is a special teams player who lines up at reciever once or twice a season when injuries demand. Whatever point you were trying to make is lost. Seek medical attention, fast.

My point is nobody on this team has a lot of catches, except Steve Smith...you said Proehl shouldn't be compared because he is a 3rd receiver. So Hankton is a superstar then, since he gets less time than Proehl?? I'd say he's far from it..

You lack serious reading comprehension skills.

Clearly, I am comparing RP to KC. RP has been more productive, since he has nearly as many catches and, gasp, more yards, than the starter that sees twice as many snaps. That comparison doesn't bodes badly for KC.

Not as bad as having a ball ripped from your hands and having two drops on three balls thrown to you, but still, bad.

And I'm saying pass completions are a function of QB and reciever....hell all 3 receivers for freaking Arizona are ahead of everybody we got except Steve Smith, in receptions. Delhomme is a one-dimensional passer, and Smith makes him look better than he is. That's what I'm saying, and have always said about DelHomme. We've had a lot of talented recievers come through here who ended up looking mediocre. It can't all be on them, DelHomme is the common denominator, so I say the jury is still out on Colbert.
