Delhomme had a pretty good game today. over 300 yards passing, 3 TD's and that one bad INT. Should have a better completion percentage but it was still at about 66% which is very good. Colbert sucks ass. He looks like he's been training with the Falcons wide receiving corps all offseason

Jake is inconsistant on the deep ball. He'll have a some of those ducks like the one to Colbert, and then throw some beautiful spirals right into the bread basket. But he definitely doesn't have a weak arm.

Carter should have caught the sideline ball.

One thing that bothered me was why did they wait so long to go into the 2 min. drill. Houston kept running out fresh legs and our guys were sucking wind badly. Houston owned our O-line all day.

    Our problem was not Jake.

Nope. Houston's troubles WERE David Carr. I don't want him to be ours.

I was way off on Colbert. I didn't realize how many drops he had.

Yeah, I was so wrapped up in the game that I didn't keep track, and I missed one after leaving early. It was a poor performance. I do think Carter is playing better, but he still needs to attack the deep ball.

Either Jim Skipper doesn't teach ball security, or DeShaun has bad ADD. He better make like Tiki and fix that problem.

Colbert is just bad and Carter to me isn't any better. You just never have any confidence that when you need a crucial catch that either of these two will make it. Would Jarrett do any better? I have my doubts whether he was the great "catch" in the second round that draftniks thought he was. Still, he's young and hasn't been given the chance yet. I 'd like to see what he's got. The dynamic duo we have now isn't up to the job and I think thats even more obvious now.

I believe Drew had a couple of key 3rd down grabs.

At some point, Jarrett should replace Keary, but we need to make sure he can handle an entire game.
