Colbert Should Ride the Pine

With Keary Colbert's miserable performance today, I wouldn't be surprised to see him getting splinters in his arse from the bench. He dropped at least three passes and had that stupid penalty.

Carter should have made the catch on that long ball as well.

I don't think he played well, but the missed deep ball was undeniably on Jake. Colbert had beaten his man badly and even a mediocre throw would have resulted in a touchdown, but Jake underthrew it by 10 yards. Colbert did have one ridiculous drop during that last drive, though.

 

I was shooting the game, and through the lens I saw 3 drops from 83, not including the deep ball, which, as you correctly pointed out, was an underthrow by 17.

Not one of KC's best efforts, although he made a few catches in the 2nd half-maybe 2.

far as I was concerned, one juke TD and a couple receptions overall didn't win the job for him as much as Carter was less efficient and less able overall.

I still think he sucks but if I am looking for someone to blame he would be low on my list.

 

I'm not out to blame anybody. No way, when you screw up on all 3 levels of the game, one person is to blame. We came out and sucked.

 

Colbert didn't give up thirty-one points at home. The defense and sorry
coaching staff is what cost us this game. Next week when Tampa comes
here and Garcia picks us apart we can blame it on someone else. Mr. Richardson should dock every player on special teams, the Defense and
the coaching staff. The only 100% player we have is the guy everyone
wanted to get rid of when he had his anger management problems. That
guy gives 100% every time he steps foot on the field. We used to have a defense that would give up little if any points at home. No wonder the fans
are so discussed . No wonder HBO's this week in the NFL didn't even mention
us last week against the Rams. We are at the bottom rung of the NFC.

 

I don't belive we play Tampa next week.
