Jesus, this is like debating "Shasta" vs "Fresca".

    xD

Moore has shown no leadership, a tendency to fumble every time he is hit, skiddish in the pocket, and no spark. And this season? No wins.

He is playing with the same line, same receiving bunch, same "well fuck it, we're outta here after this season anyway" coaching staff that Clausen has had to play with. Clausen DOES need to learn how to hand the fucking ball off, and the center snap.

    Not this year he hasn't.

Not this year he hasn't, not really. He did move some vs. the Giants...but he threw pic after pic, and fumbled almost every time he was touched, and looked like a lost bitch out there. Preseason he did, too. He is awful this year.

Um, no. He didn't lead Edwards at all, threw behind him, and Edwards was twisting backward while running forward, and the pass was low---Edwards had his hand out in a feeble attempt, but no one could catch that. It was a shit throw.

They were in the red zone, it wasn't a Hail Mary. It was a go, and it was a retarded and underthrown pass. It didn't even make it to the endzone if I recall.

Nor do I think you implied that. What you did outright say is, he is worlds better than Clausen, and this year, when they both had the same to work with, they're about equal.

If you just feel more comfortable with him because of what he did last year, then that's fair enough. That's how you feel, and it's valid. But this year, they have performed about the same. And in a lost season, it seems to me, starting your rookie who might be the future of this team, who has shown flashes, and WOULD be moving the sticks if the receivers could catch, isn't a bad idea.

Clausen has issues. But I don't see the point in starting Moore right now...

    Ok, Purssy.

I feel more comfortable with Moore because of what he did last year.

    And in 2007.

And that he's been with the team and in the system for 4 years.

And that Clausen can't field a snap from under center.

    That's all.

7 quarters of football amounts to 10.9% of a season, in case anyone was curious.

    Go Pickle. :cucumber:

Hey, just as I have said about the head coach--I don't give a shit who plays or coaches, really, as long as the team plays better than what they've shown in 5 weeks. If Clausen decides next week is his week, and then the streak begins, then hell yes. But my opinion is that Matt Moore is the best QB on the roster, and puts the team in a better position to win a higher percentage of their remaining schedule than Clausen. It's not an unfair assessment, either.

You're just being pretentious right now, because the point is, when they both have the same thing to work with, they're both equal, and you're flat out wrong about Moore being worlds better than Clausen.

Truth being that Moore has more history with this team and it's players, and the fact that he CAN'T out perform Clausen is a fucking awful sign.

So yeah. Go Pickle. I don't give a fuck WHAT he looks like. He's the Carolina Panthers quarterback, and he's shown flashes of greatness. He's also shown he needs a lot of work. It's all fucked up. But Moore is no better than Clausen at this juncture.

Either way, having better receivers with a little experience will help whoever starts next week, whether it be Clausen OR Moore.

Those flashes of greatness are fine, but when you can't move your team down the field with consistency, it doesn't matter.

Again, Fresca is world's better than that Dollar-Tree shit called Shasta. Yet, both are something I would avoid spending a ton of time or money on.

Interestingly enough, Shasta comes from a high pedigree.

We'll have to see...if Fresca goes in Sunday after this, I hope you're right, I really do. You'll get a golden key to the prison, even.

Fresca has always been there for me, pal. It's not always tasty, but it's familiar.

Shasta? I have to fucking clue what it is and don't want to know.
