A problem like that would likely come up in the interview process.

I have nowhere really good to put this, so it goes here, but sometimes Foxy cracks me up. In his PC:

"Well um, we're 0-5, and I think it means what it means."

    Fucking hilarious.

    Also about Jeff OTah:

"No more of an idea than what we have up to this point. Same as."

    I'll miss him.

What do y'all think the ratio of blown reads by the QBs to blown routes by the WRs is?

I never bought into this until I gave it some thought this week.

Even if he never takes a snap, having a veteran who has started in the NFL on the sidelines is never a bad idea. It would appear our current communications system for playcalling looks like this:

Davidson ---> Rip ---> Moore (relays to Clausen via-walkie talkie).

I may be wrong there, but it's what I've seen. Little things, like having a veteran voice on the other end of that receiver would have been a plus for either of these guys.

That said, Mark Brunell isn't walking through that door.

Moore is worlds better than Clausen right now. And I don't think going back there kills Clausen (and if it does, I wouldn't want him on my team, because it would show an absolute lack of character and resolve).

He hasn't done shit to earn a starting job, other than see Moore get concussed vs. NY.

I think the two are married, and there is an absolute lack of timing and rhythm in the passing game. Plus, Davidson's horrifying playcalling and play design has put the rookie in a terrible spot. Like B&B said, a couple stick routes to your TE, or swing passes to your backs--never a bad idea. Passing from 1st down out of a tight, run formation--also not a bad idea.

We're getting out-coached every week, as well. Defensive coordinators are just swinging their cocks in front of Davidson's nose and saying "yea, what you gonna do 'bout it, bitch?"

I'd be happier if he brought an offensive coordinator with him.

Are you fucking kidding me? How do you say this?

Moore came in for some relief, and in a matter of the time it takes for me to take a piss, threw two picks. One in the goddamn redzone again.

They look like the same GUY to me. Clausen will at least try to stretch the field once in a while, though.

    Worlds better? Just...how?

I said Moore is world's better than Clausen.

If you do the math on that, it means he's average, since Clausen has shown nothing but bad clock management, missed handoffs, fumbled QB/C exchanges, no leadership, no spark, and most importantly--no wins.

Moore, on the other hand, has shown--at the least--an ability to play the position against decent-to-great teams, and actually:

    1. Move the sticks
    2. Throw TD's
    3. Open up the running game by forcing more defenders out of the box.

Moore's picks vs. Chicago? Really, dude? One bounced off another quarterback's hands, and the other was just a fucking hail mary. The worst throw he's made in his career was the absolutely retarded play to Barnidge in week one.

Moore is not going to Canton dude. Relax. But he's not fucking up on every single level as Clausen is right now. When I see #2 in the huddle, I cringe. When I see Moore, I at least know we have seen something before, and his arm didn't suddenly fall off, like Delhomme in 2007.
