calling can get better on both O and D. It's hard to fix this many wrong things with playcalling...at points you make it simple and people complain that it's predictable.


If you try to make things basic to cover some problems, you lack creativity. If you do the same things people want and it doesn't work any better, people will want you to do what you were doing before that didn't work. People that complained that we didn't run at the 4 against the Giants complain we didn't go on 4th down against a terrible run defense with our best short yardage back.

The I-formation thing was really weird. There were plenty of things I was encouraged by, too. My concern is execution, which yes, is partly at QB, partly on the line, and partly on being so damned young.
