I feel a little sorry for KC fans. This team is awful.

I know it was KC and it was just the first half but damn it feels good to see us stomp somebody. One way you know you have a good team is when you can stomp the teams you are supposed to stomp.

Assuming we do not have some kind of historic collapse in the second half we are looking at 4-1 headed into two games in the division. If we win those two we are in the drivers seat.

halftime thoughts - the failed runs are on linemen slipping, for wahtever reason, and we've stopped pulling guys outside for that. Vincent isn't a good space lineman anyway. Bridges is missing blocks too. They're doing OK penetrating but it's more just our mistakes. Which is somewhat understandable given the circumstances of the new OTs, but I'd still like to see more stability and execution.

Backs look fine. DW has stumbled a bit for whatever reason, but clearly is having a good day overall - maybe the TDs have him looking more for the homerun than he should be, because he's been stuffed some while stuttering at the line.

    Delhomme's rating is 132

    defense has been ridiculous

Jake missed on that Smitty pass, it was there. There was one earlier just off the hands but Jake's placement on the deep balls isn't quite there yet.
